  • Resident individual
  • Total income ≤ ₹50 lakh
  • Income from: Salary, one house property, other sources (interest, dividends)
  • No capital gains in the year
  • No income from business or profession
  • Not a director in a company or holding unlisted equity shares

ITR-1 is NOT for you if…

  • Capital gains from stocks, MF, property
  • More than one house property
  • Business or professional income
  • Foreign income or assets
  • Director of a company
  • Agricultural income > ₹5,000
